Once in a very long while a reporter, or in this case a photographer, will know exactly what they want from a project at the outset. That is what happened with “Driven“.

2010 Census map, a.k.a. “Forget it. We’ll just do one big map.”
This map was one of my first attempts using the Google Maps API and Google Fusion Tables to build an interactive map. It turned out a bit trickier than I had originally planned since it eventually combined four maps from four data sets into the space of one map.
